Fiat will have a blast from the past next year by introducing a revised version of the Tipo as their new C-segment contender. The model was revealed at the Istanbul Motor Show earlier this year as the Fiat Aegea Project.
Outside, a distinctive and perfectly-resolved design is inhabited allowing beautifully balanced proportions of 4.5m in length, 1.78m in width and 1.48m in height. Inside, the new Fiat Tipo is styled and built to the highest standards with plentiful space for five adults plus luggage and a boot capacity of 510-litres. In addition, the new Tipo is also available with the latest technological features including: Fiat’s five-inch touchscreen Uconnect infotainment system with hands-free Bluetooth calling and audio streaming as well as reverse camera and TomTom Satellite navigation as optional extras.
Distinguished for its unique and exceptional engines the new Tipo will be available with four different engine options with both manual and automatic transmissions available. The selection includes two Multijet II turbo-diesel engines and two petrol units with power outputs ranging from 95hp to 120hp.
With an importance placed on value and practicality the new Fiat Tipo will become a member of the “Functional Family” within the Fiat brand.
The new Fiat Tipo saloon has not yet been confirmed for the UK market.
