Fiat 500 reaches 1.5 million production milestone

The Fiat 500 has reached a significant production milestone with its 1.5 millionth 500 model rolling off the production line in Tychy, Poland. The car reaching this historic milestone was a 1.2-litre Pop, which is set to meet its new owner in France.

The Fiat 500 has proven to be a popular choice worldwide, with more than 100 countries being offered the retro favourite. The UK has especially warmed to the model accounting for more than 240,000 units sold. With these impressive figures, it’s no surprise that the 500 has collected more than 40 international awards, including the prestigious European Car of the Year accolade in 2008.

The Fiat 500 was refreshed for 2015 but still retains its unmistakeable cues that have made it such a worldwide success. With a modernised interior and exterior, along with advance technologies, improved efficiency and even more customisation options the new Fiat 500 is at the top of its game catering to a variety of tastes and needs. The most evident changes for the new Fiat 500 are new front headlights with LED daytime running lights, unique new rear light clusters and the new dashboard with its smart Uconnect infotainment system.

The Fiat 500 is available from Sturgess Motor Group from less than £150 per month with a £500 deposit contribution, for more information about our current Fiat offers click here.
