This Policy is designed to cover the cost of Tyre repair and/or replacement following accidental or malicious damage, including punctures, during the Period of Insurance. For, example, if Your Insured Vehicle Tyre suffers a puncture and the Tyre is unable to be repaired this Policy will cover the cost of the Tyre being replaced up to a maximum £200*.

Benefits and Significant Features

• The Insurer will cover the Cost of Repairs of the Tyre's fitted to Your Insured Vehicle in the event that the Tyre’s sustain accidental and/or malicious damage.
• The Insurer will cover the Cost of Replacements up to a maximum £200 per Tyre (inclusive of VAT) up to a maximum 2 Tyre’s per year and up to a maximum aggregate 4 Tyre’s during the Period of Insurance.

£250 Tyre Damage Cover

This Policy is designed to cover the cost of Tyre repair and/or replacement following accidental or malicious damage, including punctures, during the Period of Insurance.

For example, if Your Insured Vehicle Tyre suffers a puncture and the Tyre is unable to be repaired this Policy will cover the cost of the Tyre being replaced up to a maximum £250*.

Benefits and Significant Features

• The Insurer will cover the Cost of Repairs of the Tyre’s fitted to Your Insured Vehicle in the event that the Tyre’s sustain accidental and/or malicious damage.
• The Insurer will cover the Cost of Replacements up to a maximum £250 per Tyre (inclusive of VAT) up to a maximum 2 Tyre’s per year and up to a maximum aggregate 4 Tyre’s during the Period of Insurance.

Tyre Damage Cover Eligibility
You will be eligible for this Policy provided:

• You are purchasing a purchasing a vehicle less than five year old.
• The vehicle must be maintained and operated in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations.
• The vehicle must not be used for hire or reward.
• The vehicle must be registered in the Geographical Limits.

Period of Insurance

The Period of Insurance is for a 24 or 36 month period (dependent on the policy taken) or until the Maximum Aggregate Cost of Replacements has been reached, whichever occurs first.

Significant and Unusual Exclusions

• Vehicles over five years old or vehicles which have travelled over 100,000 miles. (or 50,000 if a motorcycle) at the Start Date of the Policy (Definition Eligible Vehicle).
• Wear and tear of Tyres.
• Maximum 2 Tyre’s per year and up to a maximum aggregate 4 Tyre’s during the Period of Insurance.
• Damage caused by using the Tyre at the incorrect pressure.
• Vehicles not serviced in line with the manufacturers servicing schedule.
• Loss or damage caused by a road traffic accident, fire or theft.
• Tyres which are below the legal limit when the incident occurs.
• Tyres that do not carry the European E mark.
• Certain makes and models of vehicles.
