Performance & Charging
The new IONIQ 6 will be offered with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, with rear-wheel drive models offering the best range. Drive Mode Select with Eco, Normal and Sport modes, and paddle-shiftable regenerative braking let you tune how it feels. The new IONIQ 6 has Hyundai’s 800v battery architecture, so you can charge from 10-80% in as little as 18/36 minutes when connected to a 350kW ultra fast charger*. A 7.4kW home charger adds around 30-miles of range per hour and tops up the battery from 10-80% in around nine hours.
*Hyundai test data for comparison purposes. Actual time will vary and is dependent on a number of factors including battery temperature, condition and age, ambient temperature and the power provided by the charger. Charge time increases in cold weather and if battery temperature activates safeguarding technology. Ultra-fast 350kW chargers are currently available on selected motorways/major arterial routes (excluding Northern Ireland) – see the Charge myHyundai app or https://chargemyhyundai.com/web/hyundai-gb/map for details.
