The Suzuki IGNIS was placed in the top three of the Urban Category of the World Car of the Year finals at the New York International Motor Show April 12th.

To qualify for the Urban Category each vehicle had to be less than four meters in length, suitable in design for everyday use in an urban environment and be on sale in at least two continents by Spring 2017. Fitting the criteria the IGNIS easily qualified and ranked high amongst the 70 plus judges, being a runner up in the overall competition.
