New Suzuki Vitara in Leicester

The all-new Suzuki Vitara is coming soon to Sturgess of Leicester.

Since the Vitara's initial launch back in 1988, there have been plenty of changes in size, shape and performance – and the new model is better than ever.

Balancing great on-road performance with genuine off-road capability, the all-new Vitara has striking rugged styling and will be the cleanest non-hybrid 4x4 model on the market.

Vitara customers can choose between two 120hp engines - either a 120hp 1.6-litre petrol engine or a 120hp 1.6-litre ALLGRIP DDiS diesel engine. The ALLGRIP 4WD DDiS model has an astonishing fuel consumption figure of up to 67.2mpg, while emitting just 111g/km of CO2 emissions, so it's perfect as an everyday vehicle without the environmental effects usually associated with four-wheel drive.

Vitara's off-road credentials are thanks to Suzuki's exclusive ALLGRIP 4-wheel drive system, which was first available on the SX4 S-Cross. It adjusts effortlessly to any road surface, with four drive modes to handle all conditions.

The all-new Vitara is available in SZ4, SZ-T and SZ-5 grades. All models come with a fantastic range of standard features, including alloy wheels, DAB digital radio with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, automatic air conditioning, front and rear electric windows, and projector headlamps.

A double-sliding panoramic sunroof is also available on the SZ5 model, making the inside of the Vitara feel even more spacious.

Personalisation is a key feature of the new model, with ten exterior body colours, including five two-tone combinations, as well as colour coded dash and air vent surroundings to add flair to the interior. There are two style packs too, to emphasise the Vitara's on- and off-road credentials, with the Urban pack adding fog lamp bezels, body-side mouldings and roof spoiler, and the Rugged pack, offering front and rear skid plates, fog lamp bezels, body-side mouldings and loading edge protection.

Safety features are also key, with new Radar Brake Support (RBS), which uses radar to detect vehicles in front and buzzes if it senses that there may be a possibility of collision, and activates the brakes if required. This works with the new Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system, which uses radar to measure the distance from the car in front, and automatically adjusts the car's speed to maintain one of three driver-selected distances.

Other safety features include seven airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners, and force limiters.
