The long awaited XC60 Premium SUV was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show this week and is set to continue on the success of the original XC60, which is the best selling premium mid-sized SUV in Europe; selling nearly a million units globally.
Scheduled to go into production mid-April and on sale from summer 2017, the new XC60 offers comfort and new safety features.
The new XC60 Premium SUV will be available in a D4 (190HP)
and D5 (235HP) Diesel Engine. The Petrol-Powered Engine option is the T5 delivering
254HP and at the top of the power-train is the T8 Twin Engine Petrol Plug-In Hybrid
delivering 407HP, reaching 100mkm/h in just 5.3seconds.
Volvo has developed new safety features to the new XC60 that will literally automatically steer you out of trouble. The City System includes the Steer Assist which helps you avoid collisions with other vehicles, pedestrians and large animals. The Oncoming Lane Migration and Blind Spot Information System are also two new safety features that have been updated and added.
The new safety features of the XC60 extend to the environment with the new CleanZone Four-Zone Climate Control System which removes harmful pollutants and particles from outside of the cabin, allowing a healthy performance.
