Land Rover has enhanced the Range Rover Evoque line for 2015, introducing two new premium specifications, and enhancing its infotainment system. The 2015 Range Rover Evoque will be available with the new range-topping Autobiography and the Autobiography Dynamic specifications.
Both Autobiography specifications feature enhanced dynamic body styling, 20" forged alloy wheels and premium leather interior with the Autobiography logo embossed on the headrests.
The Autobiography Dynamic model has been enhanced with a more optimised chassis for sharper handling, and features either sports or premium climate seats. The top-of-the-range 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine has been upgraded to produce 285PS and 400Nm of torque - 45PS and 60Nm more than the existing Range Rover Evoque. It will be available in a new phoenix orange metallic body paint, creating a striking and distinctive look for the new model.
Land Rover's InControl Apps will debut across the entire Evoque range. In a world first, InControl Apps enable vehicle-optimised smartphone apps to be displayed and controlled with their original look and feel from the vehicle's touchscreen. Owners simply connect their smartphone directly to the Range Rover Evoque via USB.
Murray Dietsch, Director of Land Rover Programmes, said: "When the Range Rover Evoque was launched, it brought a unique blend of innovative exterior and interior design and exceptional on- and off-road capability to the market. It created the premium compact SUV.
"The introduction of Land Rover InControl Apps, together with the new range topping Autobiography and Autobiography Dynamic derivatives, take the Range Rover Evoque's core strengths a step further, bringing increased levels of connectivity, desirability, luxury and dynamic ability to the already successful line-up."
