Fiat 500 Vintage '57 at the Geneva International Motor Show

The 1957 Fiat 500 is one of the most iconic cars Fiat have ever produced and the modern 500 has always been a celebration of its iconic predecessor, inheriting the stylish look and charismatic style. But now Fiat are going to be taking the tribute up a notch with the new limited edition Fiat 500 Vintage '57 set to debut at the Geneva International Motor Show on March 3 rd.

The Vintage '57 model is a modern interpretation of the stylish features that made the original so distinctive. A pastel finish with a contrasting roof, spoiler, antenna, mirror covers and the addition of new Fiat 500 Vintage '57 16-inch alloy wheels complete with historic Fiat logos really help replicate the historic feel of the original '57.

A few simple additions to the interior have helped continue the retro feel to the 500 Vintage '57; a white dashboard, historic Fiat logo on the steering wheel boss and tan-coloured Poltrona Frau leather seats with an ivory leather 'half moon' and '500' embroidery create sense of what it would have been like to take a seat in the original model.

The Fiat 500 Vintage '57 manages to get the balance between retro and modern day spot on, with all the retro design and trimmings comes with a fantastic selection of modern day technologies. Air conditioning, Blue&Me infotainment system, seven air bags, Start&Stop system, ESP with ASR/MSR, HBA and Hill Holder are just some of the interior and safety features on board the limited edition model. It will be available with a choice of either a petrol-powered 69hp 1.2-litre or the award winning 0.9 TwinAir 85hp turbo petrol engine.

In addition to the Fiat 500 Vintage '57 the Geneva International Motor Show will also play host to the debuts of two other upcoming Fiat models, the 500X with DDCT six-speed, dual dry-clutch transmission, and the new Doblo Trekking with an improved Traction+ system.
