Abarth have triumphed at the prestigious Auto Motor and Sport Awards scooping the Mini Car title.
Readers of the automotive magazines of German publishers “Auto Motor und Sport” in 15 countries were asked to assess 364 vehicles in 11 categories with two ranking results: one general and one for imported brands.
Abarth 595 took the title in the imported car ranking of the Mini Car category ahead of 15 other candidates. The car was also successful in the general Mini Car category placing third, being the only sports car to gain the podium of the 20 models in the running.
Available in hatchback or convertible Abarth is always read to surprise. The Abarth 595 is available in two trim levels – Turismo and Competizione along with a limited edition Trofeo and a Yahama Racing edition.Three powers of the 1.4-litres T-jet are available with two transmissions. The Abarth 695 Biposto known as the “smallest supercar” completes the line-up. This nippy vehicle delivers 190 HP and delivers thrills and technology of a real racing car on everyday roads.
