The chosen cars are the Baleno and the new Ignis compact crossover. The Baleno is 3.99 meters long and the Ignis is 3.70 meters long.
The Baleno, first launched in India and now available in Europe was Suzuki's first car with the Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki technology. This system enables the Baleno to achieve 94g/km CO2 emissions.
The Ignis first launched in Japan and will go on sale in Europe from January 2017. The Ignis is compact but still has ample luggage space. Like the Baleno the Ignis will offer the SHVS technology to lower its C02 emissions to 97g/km.
