What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the name James Bond? Action packed fight scenes? His cool sophisticated manner? His cast of stunning accomplices? For everyone here at Sturgess, it's the Cars.
Since the news broke that the 24th instalment of the James Bond adventure would be released in November this year, we have been patiently waiting for the list of cars set to feature in the new movie. The wait is finally over as Jaguar and Land Rover revealed they will be continuing their successful involvement with the Bond franchise by releasing the list of cars chosen to feature in the new movie, Spectre.
In the previous James Bond film, Skyfall field agent Eve Moneypenny could be seen in the Land Rover Defender 110 Double Cab Pick Up during the opening sequence and anybody James Bond fan worth their salt knows about the characters long term love affair with Jaguar.
The cars chosen to feature in the new Bond film are Jaguar C-X75's, Range Rover Sport SRV's along with Defender Bigfoot's that have been provided by Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations.
The Jaguar C-X75 will take part in an exhilarating car chase through Rome with an Aston Martin DB10. The fastest and most powerful Land Rover of all time, the Range Rover Sport SRV, will feature in some snowy scenes
along with the Big Foot, which have already been filmed in Austria. The Big Foots were constructed by the Special Operations division and are sure to look amazing on the big screen as their huge 37-inch off-road tyres tackle some treacherous terrain.
Everyone at Jaguar Land Rover is excited about the ongoing relationship with the James Bond franchise and Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations; John Edwards had this to say: "This is an exciting partnership of Jaguar Land Rover and an opportunity to demonstrate the fantastic capabilities of the Special Operations Team."
