The All-New Suzuki IGNIS has earned itself a place in the finals of the World Car of the Year 2017. The IGNIS holds a well deserved spot in the Urban Car Category, with just only four other new cars in the category.
Having a great chance of taking home the trophy, it’s no surprise that the IGNIS holds a spot in the finals. The new IGNIS SZ5 model comes fully loaded with its advanced safety feature dual camera brake support, a Dualjet SHVS engine that offers 90HP and lower CO2 emissions; and it also comes with the choice of eleven electrifying colours for you to choose from.
The World Car of the Year judging panel is made up of 73 automotive journalists from all over the world, with eight panellists representing the UK and Republic of Ireland. “Suzuki has seen off many rival manufacturers from all corners of the globe to become a 2017 World Car finalist”, said Mike Rutherford, UK Vice-Chair of World Car of the Year.
The IGNIS was released first in the Japanese domestic market, then
went onto launch UK sales in January 2017; and is already proving
extremely popular with 560 sales within its first month.
All World Car Winners will be announced at the New York International Auto Show on Thursday 13th April 2017.
