Suzuki has unveiled the new Celerio, a small and affordable city car, at the Geneva Motor Show this week.
Suzuki has revealed that the new model will have class-leading fuel economy and CO2 emissions, making it one of the cheapest new cars on the market to buy and run.
The Celerio will feature a newly developed small petrol engine with a dual-injection system. With a reduced bodyweight and improved aerodynamics, it provides class-leading low CO2 emissions of just 85 g/km. The automatic transmission version will feature the newly developed Auto Gear Shift, for fuel economy equal to a manual transmission.
At 3,600mm, it has an easy-to-drive, compact body with a room interior for a small city – and features best-in-class luggage capacity of 254 litres.
All these elements have been packed into a dynamically styled package that will be available in unique and eye-catching colours.
The new Celerio is planned to go on sale in Europe at the end of this year.
