Suzuki Reveal 2015 Jimny Updates

Suzuki has updated the Jimny for 2015 to give it a fresh new appeal.

Originally released in 1998, it has now sold over 2.8 million models worldwide. As capable off-road as it is on the street, the compact SUV is a distinctive and quirky alternative.

Both the base model SZ3 and higher spec SZ4 have been updated to meet EU regulations, with a new instrument cluster featuring a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Gear Shift Indicator (GSI) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) for improved safety and fuel management.

On top of these new additions, the SZ3 also offers new colour schemes, with a new seat fabric and new external colours - three metallic and one solid body paints.

For the SZ4, updated features include newly designed 15" Dark Silver alloy wheels, synthetic leather seats, air conditioning, leather trim steering wheel, and rear privacy glass – which are all now standard! There's also a choice of five metallic paint options, including the newly added Steel Silver and Khaki Green.

The all-alloy four cylinder 1.3-litre engine remains the same, producing 85hp and 110Nm of torque. This offers acceleration to 62mph in 14.1 seconds and has a top speed of 87mph, with fuel efficiency figures of 39.8 MPG with the 5-speed manual gearbox.

The new Suzuki Jimny is now available, with prices starting from £12,195 for the SZ3 and £13,645 for the SZ4.
