This all-new city car offers a compact size with a spacious interior, including a large bootspace of up to 254-litres – as well as being fun to drive. With a 2,425mm long wheelbase, the Celerio offers plenty of room for five adults, and a high driving position.
The Celerio will also be offered with a large amount of customisation, including a choice of solid and metallic colour paint.
There is a high amount of equipment available as standard, even on the base model SZ3. This includes six airbags (Driver, passenger, side and curtain), ESP, air conditioning, alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity, DAB Digital Radio, CD player and USB connectivity, and remote central locking.
In addition, the SZ4 model offers polished alloy wheels, rear electric windows, front fog lamps, body coloured door mirrors and a chrome front grille.
The 68hp 1.0-litre three cylinder engine will offer high fuel economy and low emissions, with 99g/km of CO2 emissions and 65.7MPG on the combined cycle. The line up will be added to later in 2015 with a new Dualjet engine offering improved figures of 78.4 MPG and 84g/km CO2 emissions.
Suzuki will also introduce their new Auto Gear Shift (AGS) in the summer. This has an Intelligent Shift Control Actuator that operates the gearshift and clutch automatically, making city driving far more enjoyable, fuel efficient, and producing less CO2 emissions than you'd usually expect from an automatic transmission.
The AGS system also offers a low speed creep function, which enables the car to move in gear without having to use the accelerator. This is a great feature when in slow traffic and makes parking easy – perfect for city driving!
The Suzuki Celerio goes on sale in February 2015, with prices starting from just £7,999 OTR for the SZ3 model and £8,999 OTR for the SZ4.
