Sturgess of Leicester is gearing up to deliver a number of the all-new Volvo S60 DRIVe and V60 DRIVe models to local businesses. 

A combination of impressive fuel economy and low emissions which equates to an attractive Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) payment for company car drivers as well as lower running costs means Sturgess of Leicester located at Almond Road, expects high interest levels from local companies. 

Fitted with a six-speed manual gearbox and start/stop technology, the all-new S60 DRIVe, with CO2 emissions of just 114g/km and V60 DRIVe (119g/km) are available in all trim levels - ES, SE, SE Lux and the newly launched R-Design. More than a quarter (26%) of organisations, surveyed by Volvo last year, said environmental issues were at or near the top of their agenda with another half (54 per cent) saying it was a secondary consideration. Whilst most fleet managers interviewed believed that company car drivers base their vehicle selection on the amount of tax they will have to pay with environmental reasons being the least important factor, these two generally co-exist in that the cars that attract the least tax are the ones that fall into the ‘greener’ category.
