2014 Alfa MiTo updated

The Alfa MiTo has been updated for 2014, with higher specification, a revised interior, improved exterior looks and a brand new engine.

Tweaks to the MiTo's looks include a new, chromed front grille, titanium grey headlamps and tail lamp surrounds, tinted rear windows and a sports rear bumper. There are new colour choices available, including the new matte Magnesio Grey.

All MiTos will now come with the Uconnect five-inch colour touchscreen infotainment system as standard across the range. The Uconnect features voice recognition, Bluetooth connectivity, USB/Auxiliary ports, and features steering wheel mounted remote controls to compliment the system. Satellite navigation is also now an optional extra.

A comprehensive array of traction, braking and stability control systems is standard on all Alfa MiTo models and these systems, along with steering effort and throttle response, can be adjusted via Alfa Romeo's trademark ALFA D.N.A. three-mode selectable driving mode system. Other new standard features include air conditioning, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and gear knob, electric windows and mirrors, seven airbags, front fog lamps, a rear spoiler and alloy wheels.

Four trim levels are available for 2014: Sprint, Distinctive, Sportiva and Quadrifoglio Verde (QV), and five turbo-charged engines, all with Start and Stop technology and standard.

The new revolutionary 875cc TwinAir Turbo petrol engine delivers 105bhp and 145 Nm of torque. It's economical too, with a combined fuel economy figure of 67.3 MPG and CO2 emissions of just 99 g/km, which is zero tax rated.
